How the Stars Align Series - Making the Dream Real

"The power to make your dream real, is within your own control"
"The power to make your dream real, is within your own control"

As we are obviously living in the most extraordinary of times, we are beginning to take on board that change in whatever form is now inevitable. Because of the general confusion in the world and with so much going on all at once it can be overwhelming so I thought it would be a good idea to investigate the three of the main astrology traditions from around the world to see what they are telling us, firstly let’s look at Western Astrology.

On the 25th of May, Saturn moves into Aries until Sept, then back into Pisces until February 2026, when it moves into Aries proper, so the next few months will give us a preview of the energy that will define the next 2.5 years. Saturn is a serious planet, the Big Daddy and esoterically it is seen as ‘The Guardian of the Threshold’ and 0 degrees of Aries, where it is going to land shortly is seen as the ‘Threshold’ of the whole zodiac, this is quite major it marks a pivotal time in human history, the world is on the brink of a new reality and Saturn is guiding us to step into this change where we each are being asked to embody the responsibility, effort and focus that will be needed in this new world we are going in to. In simple terms, this is a time for each of us to stand up and be the ‘Adult’ in the room and take responsibility for our actions, words, health and the directions we choose to go in.  On an even more individual level, this transition calls us to confront the areas in our lives that require growth and accountability. If it hasn't already, this will be made obvious, but Aries is about the self, so that may be a clue. The energies of Saturn in Aries will challenge us to become more disciplined in our personal and professional lives, helping us break free from procrastination at last. We’ll be asked to take bold, decisive actions, particularly in areas where we've been holding back or unsure, and the future seems foggy and unclear. The energy of Aries encourages assertiveness and leadership, it wants to push us to step into our power, trust ourselves, and move forward confidently. Simultaneously, and as a balance, we have the Neptune in Aries influence active as well, where it will continue to inspire deeper reflection and spiritual insight, inviting us to connect with our intuition and embrace a broader perspective. Together, these energies will encourage us to balance grounded practicality and spiritual awareness, helping us see the bigger picture while staying focused on the details. These few months allow us to consciously release old patterns that no longer serve us, confront self-deception, see through the illusions and refine our path forward. Whether it’s personal relationships, career choices, or spiritual growth, the energies at play will help us reassess and align with our truest purpose. They will guide us to build a strong foundation for the future we are each capable of creating.

In Vedic, ancient Indian astrology, we are also witnessing the end of an era as we transition from Kali Yuga, an age of materialism and conflict, to a new higher vibration and an entirely new age. This upcoming shift promises a brighter future, but as with Western astrology, only if we take personal responsibility for our actions. The call is clear: treat others as you wish to be treated and allow outdated paradigms to fall away. This is the time to build fairer, community-based cooperation. Indian philosophy teaches that “we do not only live on this planet; we are the planet.” The Earth understands that we are an integral part of it, however, humanity has conditioned itself to accept limitations and constraints, but this belief is about to shift. The dawning age will see a blossoming of human intelligence, unlocking our ability to harness electrical and magnetic forces for both personal and collective advancement.

In Chinese astrology, 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake. In this context, the snake represents wisdom, strategy, and transformation. It symbolises how we can navigate change and challenges with cleverness and grace. Interestingly, the Snake also plays a vital role in Indian mythology, particularly in connection with Krishna, known for embodying compassion, protection, and love, qualities that resonate with the Snake's ability to bring about deep transformation. The Wood element, which also plays a key role in this year's energy, is all about growth, nurturing, and expansion. It encourages us to be creative, take on new opportunities, and explore new paths in life. This combination of the Snake's transformative power and the nurturing qualities of Wood makes 2025 a fantastic year for personal development, self-reflection, and building new skills and relationships that will help us grow and move forward in our journey.

What do thousands of years of wisdom from Western, Vedic, and Chinese astrology tell us as individuals and as a collective? HOPE, from what I can see, this is a powerful message: it says we have a unique opportunity to create a bright new future. The time is right, the energies are aligned, and the stars guide us to embrace our true potential and embark on a profound growth and transformation path. They say we are living at a critical moment in human evolution and collectively, these teachings suggest we stand at a crossroads, where we can shape a future that is fairer, more cooperative, and full of potential for growth and prosperity, if we choose. For the first time in known history, there is a species, who at least in some part, are masters of its own destiny who has its survival in its own hands but as with great power comes great responsibility, if only we could just find a way of taking this obligation seriously. It is up to each of us to harness the wisdom of these ancient traditions, not just to survive, but to live a full, authentic life and to thrive. The future we create begins with the choices we make today. This change starts with ....
